This month, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on Graeme Gilchrist, our Quality and Purchasing Manager – someone who ensures we continue to meet the highest standards.

Some exciting progress was achieved at our Cairnhill site yesterday, as we successfully installed two brand-new cranes from ABUS Crane Systems Ltd, supplied by Walter Watson Ltd, marking a major step forward for Bay 9 – the designated Special Projects Bay.

At Cairnhill, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards and continuously improving the way we work. One of the key initiatives helping us achieve this is the implementation of Shadow Boards across our workshop.

Today, we celebrate Bobby Nisbet, our dedicated Yard Manager, as he begins a well-earned retirement after 20 years with the Cairnhill team.

Recently, our Metrology and Inspection Division, C-Met, completed a technically challenging staircase extension, demonstrating its reverse engineering capabilities and digital expertise.

We’re proud to continue supporting clubs that go beyond a game to build stronger communities, develop young talent, and create opportunities for the next generation.

Cairnhill is proud to be supporting the refurbishment of the Teddington Launch Lock Gates on the River Thames, working alongside BAM UK & Ireland on behalf of the Environment Agency in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
