Cairnhill Structures are delighted to announce the successful delivery and installation of Abbotshaugh Footbridge. The bridge was manufactured, painted and installed for our client by Cairnhill Structures. The 48m span bridge has a steel weight of 70T and was lifted into place by a 500T crane. Councillor Paul Garner said: “The Abbotshaugh Bridge represents a significant investment for the local area, and is the first brand new bridge in the Falkirk Council area for over 100 years. It will connect residents and visitors to recreation, amenities, employment, the Helix and the Kelpies – one of the biggest tourist attractions in Scotland.”
