Reston Station re-opening

Over 50 years after it’s closure, the new and improved Reston Station re-opened its doors on Monday.
Working alongside BAM Nuttall and Network Rail, we were contracted to fabricate, deliver and install both primary and secondary steelwork packages to the station, including an award-winning 16m ‘Ribbon’ footbridge. This is the first footbridge of its kind to be installed in the UK.
Cairnhill also completed the stone cladding, glass, illuminated stainless steel handrails and glazing to this project. Full turnkey solution!
